Dawlish Journeys Steering Group Meeting

On Tuesday 23rd September we met with the Dawlish Journeys Steering Group to discuss our project proposal, kindly hosted by Diane at Dawlish Library.  We presented ideas for four art projects and a celebration event along the theme of journeys.  Our ideas were drawn from the suggestions we received at the community consultation.

As a result we can announce the projects and activities we are going to run in Dawlish:

Poetry For Pleasure

A Community Mosaic

A Dance/Pakour Project in Secondary Schools  and with the Dawlish Dancers

Dance taster sessions with The Memory Cafe (Dawlish Library) and Cofton Women’s Institute led by Dawlish Dancers

A Lantern Project with Primary Schools and Home Education groups

A Community Celebration Event on the 5th December 2014
