Visit to Red Rock

On Monday 29th September Lizzy Humber our project co-ordinator visited Red Rock with steering group members Shirley Fewings (Assist Teignbridge, Dawlish Youth Action) and Celia Haddow (Teignbridge District Council), and was warmly met by Red Rock trustees John Wilkinson, Mary and Terry Lowther, youth worker Dave and the Senior Youth Volunteers.  It was great to see the brilliant facilities that Red Rock has to offer:

The keen group of young people offered some brilliant suggestions about a film and music project they would like to make.  They were also keen to encourage new young people in Dawlish to use the youth centre more.  The centre is facing some uncertain times as running of the facilities is undergoing some changes, but the young people and the trustees are keen to look to the future and continue to realise the potential of this special place.
